Checking in on what's happening tonight. How do we go about catching up with you?
I'm curious to see how much of a circus downtown is gonna be.

Any other forum people heading to Monterey?

Ask staff for bluedevil or bob dobbs, or if that fails (which it should not), Scott's partner in the theatre and I'll find you. Doors at 7, Jackie at 8. Based on the last 2 days, seems like it will be a full house. Lots of sales over past 48 hours.

bob dobbs, huh? You are too much.

It's cool to hear the goings on at GST.

Anyone have that BW/JG show from that night?

Dear Bluedevil:

First, thank you for the hospitality. State Theatre in Monterey was a great venue for the Bob/Jackie show. The wife and I enjoyed meeting and talking with you.

Second, that seriously was the best show we've seen in a long time (4th row did not hurt). Jackie and Bob play really well together; they sounded awesome. Should have been billed as "almost acoustic"; Bob's St. Stephen jam was surprising and pretty damn cool (anyone remember that?).

Thinking back, not a clunker was played. the "important" words were remembered. He's Gone was borderline religious (in a good way).

More shows in Monterey. I was happy to see so many people there. I wish you every success.

Thanks. It was great to meet you and the Mrs (as well as bailey-g and his wife) and I was pretty much blown away by the entire Jackie/Bob set. The He's Gone was awesome and the St. Stephen that followed did not hurt. Crowd was great and room sounded good. Bob, Jackie and respective crews/teams were very happy and happy crews and musicians make for a much more pleasant night and good will moving forward.

Last night was really the 3rd show our team has done on main stage, with 2 others handled by others, and each one we see an uptick in traffic and better refine what we're doing. Please go to our site and submit your email to get our weekly email blast of upcoming events. We've got some pretty cool shows lined up for the spring that we're getting close to announcing. Just look me up when you come back...
